Its high time to take back the moral high ground in this discussion by actually employing the one word that accurately describes the true nature of this myth based assault upon genuine human dignity. Except for this our arguments themselves are based upon falsehood as we continue assigning a state of reality to propositions that enjoy none. This nothingness is the true nature of the LGBT fantasy. Every individual alive, religious or not, has moral underpinnings. Some pin their owners to God and Heaven while others to Their counterfeit which is Hell.
The CITIZENS of every community are the ultimate bearers of responsibility for what goes on in the communities. That certainly includes the school districts. The CITIZENS voted in the left leaning liberals that are anti-freedom so they deserve to bear the cost.
Our Forefathers wanted an involved and informed citizenry, if for no other reason, to keep check on the government. Had the citizens kept watch on their governmental institutions - such as the schools - then they should have acted to oust those who were removing the freedoms we cherish. Had they done their job, they wouldn't be on the hook for almost $600K.
Unfortunately, we have an apathetic citizenry more interested in watching mindless idiots on their phones than are interested in their own freedoms and the very real threats to those freedoms. Sometimes it takes a jarring wake-up call to remind them of their responsibility.
Thanks for bringing this to light! Though I feel compelled to comment on your statement about teachers entrusted to teach children about the Constitution. Based on personal experience, teaching the Constitution wasn't even happening in the 1960s, much less now. And the personal experience includes both public and private schools.

You're probably right, Penny. Public school was a long time ago for me, and I can't say we were taught anything about the Constitution. It's a shame kids know more about the history of the LGBT movement than they do about the document that makes us uniquely American.
