The problem here is that no Christian should ever seek a so called "religious" accommodation. This is an unnecessary, counterproductive, and cowardly diplomacy with the worst of evil where courage is required. Nancy Reagan had it right. One should immediately just say no to illegal moral coercion. No explanation to perverted extortionists is necessary. Then take the consequences wherever they lead without whining and God will bless you. I lost my budding career in my late teens in just this manner and have never regretted my opposition to the means of organized corruption and death for a moment but I have since never killed anyone. .
