That’s about to change.
Nvidia — the company whose chips power most of the world’s artificial intelligence — has just released Cosmos Reason, a new AI model that gives robots something they’ve never truly had before: the ability to think like humans.
It can “see” through cameras, interpret what it’s looking at, and then decide what to do next without human instructions.
And here’s the unsettling part:
It doesn’t just follow a script. If it encounters a problem it’s never seen before — whether that’s a jammed toaster or a toddler in tears — it will make up a plan on the spot…
…or even call the police, child protective services, or the IRS.
