Biden’s IRS budget boost will mean more audits, harassment

Biden claims he wants to crack down on tax cheats, but we all know who he really means: anyone who disagrees with his radical agenda.

President Biden has finally unveiled his budget for 2024 and it’s a disaster for anyone who cares about fiscal responsibility, economic growth and individual freedom.

The budget proposes a staggering $6.8 trillion in spending, pushing federal spending roughly 55% higher than pre-pandemic levels.

Biden wants to impose a whopping $5.5 trillion in tax hikes on wealthy Americans and corporations to pay for this reckless spending spree.

But that’s not all.

Biden also wants to boost IRS funding by $80 billion over the next decade to fight tax evasion.

He wants to give the IRS a 15% increase in funding. Why? To hire more auditors to go after your money.

Meanwhile, his son Hunter Biden is under investigation for tax violations, but we don’t hear much about that from the mainstream media.

They are too busy praising Biden’s budget as a “historic” and “transformative” plan that will invest in infrastructure, education, health care, climate change and social programs.

The measure is intended to beef up IRS staffing and improve technology, hoping to bring in an estimated $700 billion in revenue over ten years to close the so-called "tax gap" - the difference between what taxpayers owe and what they pay.

But this is a fantasy.

The IRS itself admits that it cannot accurately measure the tax gap, and that most of it is due to factors beyond its control, such as offshore tax havens, illegal income, and complex business transactions.

But what this really means is more audits, more harassment and more intrusion into the lives of hard-working Americans who are already struggling to make ends meet.

As we know, Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act will already allow the IRS to recruit 87,000 new agents to harass Americans on their taxes.

This is a blatant attempt by Biden to expand the power and reach of the IRS, which has a history of targeting conservatives and abusing its authority.

He claims he wants to crack down on tax cheats, but we all know who he really means: anyone who disagrees with his radical agenda.

And don’t be fooled by Biden’s claim that he will only target the rich and powerful. His plan may also affect small business owners who file their taxes as individuals.

Biden’s budget is a clear sign that socialists are in charge of the White House.

He is dreaming of more taxes, more IRS agents and more government control over our economy.

He is ignoring the lessons of history and common sense that show that lower taxes and less regulation lead to more prosperity and opportunity for everyone.

Biden’s budget is bad for America.

It will stifle innovation, discourage investment and punish success. It will hurt job creation, wage growth and consumer confidence. It will make us less competitive, less secure and less free.

We need to stop this tax nightmare before it becomes a reality.

We need to protect our hard-earned money from their greedy hands.
